2023/2024 - ONTARIO ORFF CHAPTER WORKSHOPS

Subscribe to both workshops at a special subscription rate

Workshop Subscription Rate*: (Refer to the section below for details about the two workshops in the series/subscription.)
$55 - Members of Carl Orff Canada 
$75 - Non-Members 
$70 - Online only - Cost includes the cost of shipping the 2 books for the first workshop (see below), a link to a videorecording of each workshop, and an electronic version of any other workshop notes.  (The videorecording links will be sent out approximately one to two weeks after each workshop.)

BONUS: All subscribers will receive a link to a video recording of each workshop approximately one to two weeks after each workshop, along with an electronic copy of the workshop notes. Also, for the first workshop, all registrants will receive a copy of the two Alice Brass books, "Orff Day by Day" and "Orff Explorations".

*NOTE: This fee just covers the cost of the workshops. It does not include the cost of a membership.  Membership fees are separate from (or in addition to) workshop fees.

Workshop #1
Alice Brass Resource Give-Away and Workshop 

This workshop was held on October 14, 2023. However, if you wish to receive the books and a video of the workshop, you may still register using the link below by choosing the "online" option OR you may register as part of the subscription using the link above.

DESCRIPTION:  We will be going through a number of the activities/lessons in the two books below.  AND you get your own copy of these 2 books!

Workshop #2
Playing the Pages: Combining the Schulwerk with Children's Literature 

WHEN:  Sunday, February 25, 2024 -  12-4pm
WHERE:  Cosmo Music - 10 Via Renzo Drive, Richmond Hill, ON  
CLINICIAN:  Lindsay Rosen
DESCRIPTION:  Children’s literature allows us to be more than music teachers; through cross curricular connections we can lift music right off the pages. In this workshop, we will sing, say, listen, and play through the Orff process while making connections to various mentor texts. We will also create opportunities to ask yourself and your learners “what else can we do with this?” to empower student voice and student choice.

$25 - Retirees & Full-Time Students (ID required)
